Time to Heal America™ is managed by Dr. Brendalyn S. Jackson. Dr. Jackson has more than 30 years of experience in business management and the entertainment industry. She is a veteran actress, performing arts educator, and events manager. Dr. Jackson has a proven track record of serving the community with events that inspire and contribute to the well-being of children and families.
After watching an interview of Dr. Mathew Knowles speaking on his new book, Racism from The Eyes of a Child, Dr. Jackson said, “I was inspired to create an event that would address and bring forth solutions.” The racial issues and stresses experienced by our society today is evidence of trauma that has plagued the black community over 50 years. There hasn't been relief since the Civil Right Bill was passed. There is a need for healing so that our communities can move forward.
“A TIME TO HEAL SYMPOSIUM ™” was a public symposium to address some of the racial issues in Fort Worth and to identify possible solutions. The Special Guest was music mogul and author, Dr. Mathew Knowles. This one-day public event included a Lecture & Panel Discussion. The Panelist consisted of leaders from former Fort Worth Race & Culture Task Force, City Government, Education, Religion, Psychology, and Law Enforcement. The event was moderated by the legendary Journalist, Bob Ray Sanders.
Dr. Jackson was honored to be able to bring this impactful opportunity for healing and change to the Dallas / Fort Worth communities.
