The Learning Tree Institute ™ "Project Resilience"
The Learning Tree Institute – “Project Resilience” will provide a learning environment in which staff and students can discover, examine, preserve, and transmit knowledge and values that will help ensure their success and improve their quality of life. The goal is to develop a community of well rounded, confident, and responsible individuals who aspire to achieve to their full potential. We will create and sustain an inclusive environment with students that acknowledges and respects people from various cultural backgrounds and diverse families.
"Project Resilience"
Under The Learning Tree Institute, “Project Resilience” will conduct two weekly classes for 12 months. These classes will be taught by TTHA instructors, business executives, university professors and special guests. We will serve men and women that are incarcerated or formerly incarcerated in State and Federal institutions to aid their re-integration back into society. Individuals will learn and participate in educational training which will assist in building opportunities beyond finishing high school or “getting a job.” Instructors will cover a range of topics related to professional career development skills and entrepreneurship including: business management, marketing, accounting, and communication. Once students complete the program, they will participant in a graduation ceremony and receive a certificate from an accredited college or university.
